Moss Lake/Pipeline Rd Paddle Trail
(Trail submitted by Pearl River Kayaks)

PUT IN/TAKE OUT:  Lake Harbor Boat Launch (Harbor Ln, off Hwy 43, Brandon, MS)
LANDING/LAUNCH:  Concrete boat ramp

ROUTE:  "Paddle out to the left thru local resident's personal paradises (Please be respectful of Private Property), then up the channel & thru the huge lotus fields into Spring Lake Slough. Explore to the north to see a birdwatchers dream ("Pelican's Roost": Breeding colonies of White Pelicans, Cormorants, Anhingas, Egrets, Herons, Kingfishers, Grebes & many more). Then, for the short trip, take a loop thru beautiful Moss Lake & return. For the longer trip, continue to paddle upriver thru the endless islands and channels to find the terminus of Pipeline Road."

Pelahatchie Creek Paddle Trail
Pelahatchie Bay and Creek are currently closed to all boating due to invasive plant removal protocols.
